New Entrants:
Post Malone is back with a new song called Sunflower. I actually like this one, it’s a song I’ve been expecting from Post Malone for a long time. However, I don’t think it’ll be too long before I’ll get sick of it.

Shawn Mendes now has 3 songs on the countdown because Nervous debuts. I’ve gotta say that this isn’t as good as his other songs but still good. I will probably get sick of that song as well.

Let Me Down Slowly is such a sweet songs I wanna dance to. It has a clean production and I can get the song lyrics easily in my head.

The best debut this week comes from Camila Cabello with Consequences. This is definitely a step up from Never Be The Same, which I got sick of back at its time it was on he countdown. Consequences, in the other hand probably won’t fade on me. It’s such a beautiful song.

HitBound:
Ava Max – Sweet But Psycho (DEBUT)
Twenty One Pilots – Chlorine
Ariana Grande – Thank U, Next
James Arthur – Empty Space (DEBUT)
Little Mix/Nicki Minaj – Woman Like Me
Imagine Dragons – Machine
5 Seconds Of Summer – Killer Queen
Zara Larsson – Ruin My Life (DEBUT)
Steve Aoki/BTS – Waste It On Me
Lauren Jauregui – Expectations
Lauv/Julia Michaels – There's No Way
Ellie Goulding/Diplo/Swae Lee – Close To Me
David Guetta/Anne-Marie – Don't Leave Me Alone
Olly Murs/Snoop Dogg – Moves
Ava Max - Sweet But Psycho is a great song, no question.

James Arthur - Empty Space isn’t as good as Say You Won’t Let Go, but Ill take it.

Zara Larsson is back and I really hope to see Ruin My Life debut the countdown soon.

Top 5 HitBound:
  1. Zara Larsson - Ruin My Life
  2. Ariana Grande - Thank U Next
  3. Ellie Goulding/Diplo/Swae Lee – Close To Me
  4. Lauren Jauregui - Expectations
  5. Ava Max - Sweet But Psycho

Blurbcequences:
  • How is The Backstreet Boys - Don’t Go Breaking My Heart jumping okay? I’m seriously getting tired of this song at the moment. It shouldn’t stay any longer here.
  • Since Tiësto & Dzeko/Preme/Post Malone – Jackie Chan finally left us, we need George Ezra - Shotgun to be off the countdown next week.
  • I’m very upset that 5 Seconds Of Summer - Youngblood returned to the #1 spot this week. This song is very overplayed and it needs to leave the top 10 very soon.
  • I do not agree with the Biggest Jump and Drop of the week this week.
  • Maroon 5 - Girls Like You needs to leave the top 20 spot. I can’t stand this song anymore. It’s very annoying and it really needs to leave soon.
  • I’m actually very happy that they haven’t let go of NF - Lie yet. It’s such a good song.
  • Why is Imagine Dragons - Whatever It Takes not in the bottom 15?
  • Benny Blanco/Halsey/Khalid – Eastside is doing strong on the countdown. This is good and hopefully, it reaches the top 10 soon.
  • The Chainsmokers/Emily Warren – Side Effects better not renter the top 10. I’m losing interest in that song. Just please be on your way out soon.
  • Why let Panic At The Disco! - Hey Look Ma, I Made it drop from the top 10 to out of the top 20 and High Hopes stay in the top ? I honestly think it should be the other way around.

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago: P!nk - What About Us (1st Week)

Lucid Blurbs:
  • I’m very annoyed that The Middle is still here. Please leave next week.
  • Bazzi/Camila Cabello - Beautiful is unfortunately not lasting much longer. Why won’t it just have as about the same tenure as Mine? Beautiful is their better song by a lot.
  • Shawn Mendes/Zedd - Lost In Japan must go back to the top 10 and not be stuck at the #11 spot.
  • I seriously don’t know why there’s so much hate with songs like Lucid Dreams, Thunderclouds, and Drew Barrymore. They’re all catchy songs.
  • Breathin’ is such a good song, please make the top 20 next week.
  • Happily, we may see a drop from Tiësto & Dzeko/Preme/Post Malone - Jackie Chan.

Blurbs & Fun Facts: My opinion on the song and some facts.

Pre-Reveal Extras
Extra #1:
Hey Violet - Hoodie
Hits 1 Peak: #21
My Opinion: Great
This is one of my all time favorites. Rena’s voice is fantastic and and fits perfectly for the song. Out of all the Hey Violet songs that were on Hits 1, this is their best. The chorus is so freaking catchy and Rena can really hit the high notes. I can never get sick of this song. The production is also really good.

Extra #2:
One Direction - Drag Me Down
Hits 1 Peak: #1
My Opinion: Great
This was before One Direction broke up. They were a very good band to begin with. This song was released after Zayn left which means that there were 4 members of this song. I did get sick of it back when it was on the countdown. This song doesn’t disappoint men one bit.

Extra #3:
Jon Bellion - Overwhelming
Hits 1 Peak: #34
My Opinion: Good
This was a step down from All Time Low. All Time Low was great in my opinion while this was only good. The production could’ve definitely been better for the most part. At least this song only lasted 5 weeks on the countdown.

Extra #4:
Train/Cam/Travie McCoy - Call Me Sir
Hits 1 Peak: #28
My Opinion: Bad
Train has definitely reached rock bottom with this song. I just don’t like the production of the song. If Train still wants to be a very good music producer, they shouldn’t produce music this bad. I mean they keep getting worse and worse as a band and that’s not okay. I’m fine that this song flopped because it was just a filler.

Extra #5:
Shawn Mendes - Stitches
Hits 1 Peak: #1
My Opinion: Great
Shawn Mendes music usually doesn’t disappoint. Stitches was really good in my opinion. Unfortunately, Hits 1 did overrate it like crazy and I got sick of it. But as it left such a long time ago, I back to liking true song. It’s truly an amazing song.

Extra #6:
Justin Bieber - Sorry
Hits 1 Peak: #2
My Opinion: Great
And is is actually too late now to be sorry? Nope, lol but this song is a jam. I love this song and is Justin Bieber’s best from Purpose. Yeah I did get sick of it because of the long on it had on Hits 1. I mean, this is far better than Love Yourself which wasn’t really good.

Extra #7:
Marshmello/Anne-Marie - Friends
Hits 1 Peak: #5
My Opinion: Great
What an amazing song that I shouldn’t have gotten sick of at all. This is an amazing friends zone anthem and the song is really good. I really don’t get all the hate for this song. Marshmello is a very talented DJ and Anne-Marie is a very good singer. It’s one of the best songs of 2018. Because of how great this song is, it’s a shame it never hit #1.

Extra #8:
Post Malone - Psycho
Hits 1 Peak: #7
My Opinion: Crap
This song is not my type of song to begin with. First of all, it’s actually Post Malone’s worst song. Second of all, it shouldn’t have made the countdown and dropped out of HitBound like I Fall Apart. The final reason is that I’m not a fan of his type of rap.

Extra #9:
Adele - Hello
Hits 1 Peak: #1
My Opinion: Mwdiocre
I honestly like a majority of Adele’s music and some of his music, I don’t like. This is meh for the most part. It’s pretty boring and it was the lead single off 25. I like her more upbeat songs like Send My Love and WUTB. My mom jam loves this song a lot but I don’t fine it appealing, sorry.

Extra #10:
Sam Smith/Logic - Pray
Hits 1 Peak: #34
My Opinion: Decent
This is one song that I didn’t like at first, but it actually grew into me. It’s not Sam Smith’s best song but it’s a beautiful song. I don’t find it a great song unfortunately though. This song did make the Hits 1 countdown amen it was pretty much forgettable. It only lasted a short but sweet 2 weeks. It was the only positive song leaving in the week it left.

Extra #11:
Iggy Azalea/MO - Beg For It
Hits 1 Peak: #15
My Opinion: Good
I really think that production of this song is catchy. This is by far Iggy Azalea’s best. As I don’t find it a great song, I still like it a lot. It would’ve been better if this songs was sung by a better artist. I know Iggy Azalea isn’t a great singer.

Extra #12
Daya - Words
Hits 1 Peak: #21
My Opinion: Great
Daya usually has really good vocals whenever she sings. This is one of the songs that are like that. It’s not as generic as Hide Away and it has better auto tune. And she’s can really hit those high notes on the song. Many other people have to disagree with that big time but I think that it’s great. Even though it’s not her best song, it was still tolerable.

Extra #13:
Pentatonix - Can’t Sleep Love
Hits 1 Peak: #11
My Opinion: Mediocre
I may have liked this at first but I should look back and say what was I thinking? This song is such a disappointment to the music industry. Even though they have pretty good vocals, the production is just mediocre and very generic. It’s not unique and it sounds like it has been used in another song. The same ass sleepy beat comes and whoever hates this know why. Sorry for the ones that like it.

Now, here comes out first reveal.

This is a pretty decent song. I don't find it special or anything and Halsey has done a lot better. The chorus kinda makes sense. Unlike other people, I'm actually not tired of Halsey's voice at the moment.

Hollow Man is the first person to lose his #1. On the other hand, Matthew is the first to lose his bottom ranking.

49. Alice Merton - No Roots

I honestly find this song somewhat catchy. I'm very surprised that so many people ranked it that low. I thought this song would've been ranked a lot higher some how. I don't get the hate at it at all. This song should've deserved much better in my opinion.

Dylan loses his bottom ranking now that the song is gone. This is also the first song to have no purple/green ranking.

48. Kiesza - Hideaway
Average Rank: 33.42

Seriously guys, what's wrong with this song. This was worse that the tanking in No Roots. I really did not expect all the hate in this song at all. This could've almost been in the bottom. It's such a good song and it's also very powerful. I find the EDM beat catchy. I even thought that CC would've ranked this song a lot higher. It also sadly lasted only 2 weeks on Hits 1. This song deserved so much better.

This is the first song without a bottom rank.

47. Rihanna/Drake - Work

50. Scott S

I am so glad that this song got eliminated early. It's not a good song at all. Rihanna repeating the word "Work" is a billion times worse than when Fifth Harmony says the same word in Work From Home. I found this song to be one of the worst songs of 2016. Rihanna can do far better than this and she shouldn't be going downhill.

Scott S is the 3rd person to lose his #50.

46. MO - Kamikaze
Average Rank: 33.08
Standard Deviation: 14.27
Median: 34.5

I definitely see why this is hated on. MO sounds like a kid and it's pretty annoying. I usually like songs when singers sound like a kid but this isn't one of them. It's not the voice that kills it for me but the tune is pretty weird. I don't think it matches perfectly with the song.

Adrian loses his bottom ranking next.

I do not like this song. It's a really messy song in my opinion. It should've never even been a hit in the first place. I'm totally not a fan of Kim Cesarion's voice. The lyrics are like breaking the law. He wants to see someone naked and that's just stupid. I don't see how anyone can like this song whatsoever. At least it got eliminated early.

I honestly don't think this song was a hit elsewhere. It's not good even to begin with. The production is very messy for the most part. I also think that the title doesn't even make any sense at all. A bang isn't a living thing. So why would you tell it to go? This song was easily the worst one on this rankdown. Surprised there's even a #1 ranking.

I may have liked this at first, but I seriously do not know what I was  even thinking. This is Liam's first solo single and man it sucked for his debut single. I'm a girl so I don't even strip. In fact, females won't like this song at all. This song is like a male anthem. Hailee Steinfeld - Most Girls is the female one.

Liam Payne had both of his songs revealed in this set.

Extra #14:
Sia - Chandelier
Hits 1 Peak: #12
My Opinion: Great
I love Sia's music. I think Chandelier was a great song. Sia can really hit those high notes when she sings. The songs is also pretty in such a way. It's just a fun song to jam out to and all. It definitely deserved more success on Hits 1.

Extra #15:
T. Mills - All I Wanna Do
Hits 1 Peak: #32
My Opinion: Great
T. Mills stands for Travis Mills. he's a pretty good singer and all. I think All I Wanna do was a jam in some way. It's such a memorable song that should've also been added to other charts. Yet, this was only a hit in Hits 1. It also hit a low peak at #32 which means that this song wasn't successful at all, unfortunately.

Extra #16:
Drake - Hotline Bling
Hits 1 Peak: #27
My Opinion: Crap
I'm really not a fan of Drake's music. I do hate a lot of his music and this is definitely no exception. The song is very bad, and his voice is pretty bad. He deserves to not make music at all. This is very grating in my opinion. Sorry for the ones that like it.

Selena Gomez has became from a singer to a whisperer in this song. it sounds a lot like Hands To Myself. However, this song is worse. She doesn't sing at all really but I still pretty much like it. This sounds like a revival song though. At least there was Wolves and Back To You where she doesn't really whisper.

I seriously do not get all the hate in this song at all. It's a beautiful song. It tells that life can be complicated and that bad things can occur. Camila Cabello sounds great and Machine Gun Kelly fits in for this song. The hate was really unnecessary. For the ones that ranked it in the red zone, please explain your reasonings. I see nothing wrong with this song.

A Great Big World/Christina Aguilera - Say Something

Extra #18:
Major Lazer/DJ Snake/MO - Lean On
Hits 1 Peak: #15
My Opinion: Great
These 3 do a collab very well together. Major Lazer and DJ Snake are both great DJs with the former being a group. It may not be EDM but it's great. I also really like MO's verse. She is a pretty talented singer despite her kiddie voice.

Extra #19:
Charlie Puth - Attention
Hits 1 Peak: #1
My Opinion: Great
I actually ranked this pretty low in .'s Hits 1 2017 YE RD and I'm sorry about that. It's a great song and Charlie has great vocals. How Long is the worse one as it's a complete rip off copy from Attention and it's not that good at all. But Attention is just fantastic and he just wants someone's attention.

It's strange and it definitely doesn't fit their style of music. It's nowhere near Gives You Hell which was their best song. Sorry for the ones that like it tho. These guys are going downhill in their job.

This song is not good at all. I did like it at first but paying more attention to the song made me realize that it's one of Taylor's worst singles. Extra #20:
Zayn/Taylor Swift - I Don't Wanna Live Forever
Hits 1 Peak: #3
My Opinion: Great
I like a lot of Zayn's music and he's not one of the worst members of One Direction. I thought IDWLF was great. Zayn's falsetto matches really well with the song and I love the collaboration that this song gives.

Extra #21:
Sheppard - Geronimo
Hits 1 Peak: #5
My Opinion: Bad
I have liked this song at first listen though. I really thought it was catchy at first, but more and more into the song, it's not that great of a song. The music video is also very weird for the most part. I find the lyrics of this song weird and it doesn't fit my type of music very much. The production is also very mediocre at the most.

Extra #22:
Camila Cabello - Never Be The Same
Hits 1 Peak: #1

I hold the unpopular opinion for liking this song. TBH, my whole family likes it. It makes me wanna wiggle and dance. It's definitely a great song when it comes to parties and stuff. I find the lyrics to be very fun instead of insulting. The wiggle, wiggle, wiggle part is the best part of the song. This is by  far Jason Derulo's best.

Extra #23:
Capital Cities - Safe And Sound
Hits 1 Peak: #3
My Opinion: Great

This song is pretty unique and is a guilty pleasure of mine. I seriously don't get what's with people not liking the song. They can shine in this song pretty much. It was even a big 2013 hit. The lyrics of the song make me feel comfortable and all. Whatever the odds are, this was one of my favorites in 2013. Nice job guys.

Extra #24:
The Strumbellas - Spirits
Hits 1 Peak: #17
My Opinion: Great
This song was not popular and not really a hit. It's like more of a Hits 1 only song that a song that was in other charts. As many people think this song is forgettable as hell, I do not think that was. I like the lyrics to the song. It shows that there's many things in our head unknown. We can't know everything and we also have bad memory. It pretty much describes the song in reality.

Extra #25:
Tiesto/Matthew Koma - Wasted
Hits 1 Peak: #11
My Opinion: Good
Matthew Koma only had songs on Hits 1 in 2014 and all their songs flopped. I really think that this song has a great tune, but the lyrics are a different story. They like people when they're wasted which means in the trash. People will feel sad whenever someone dies and their hearts can break. The chous can be spruced a little more.

Linkin Park was a great band and I probably should've ranked this higher. I love how well produced this song is. Even though it's nowhere near their best work, it's still really catchy. Chester can really hit those high notes. It's too bad that they won't be releasing anymore music due to Chester's death back in 2017. It'll never be the same without them.

As a song that was released in 2012, it was on Hits 1 in 2014. Words cannot describe how annoying it is that there is a bottom ranking. If it didn't, it would've made the top 20.

Billboard Boi loses his #50 and his bottom 5 is now clear.

Extra #26:
Tori Kelly - Should've Been Us
Hits 1 Peak: #22
My Opinion: Good

I love Tori Kelly's music but I don't find the as good as her other songs. She's trying to be an Ariana Grande wannabe and I know Ariana is too good of a singer to have a wannabe. However, I still think this song is catchy in a way.

Extra #27:
AJR - Weak
Hits 1 Peak: #10
My Opinion: Crap
The people that make up this trio, Adam Jack, and Ryan are really bad singers and music producers. I don't even know why they are having a music career in the first place. Almost all of their songs are pretty much pure garbage with Weak being their worst. This song is very weak especially the production.

Extra #28:

The Vamps is a great band and they are well deserved Disney stars. I also think that Demi sounds great in this song. The production is what I like the the most about the song. It's very catchy in a way that it can get stuck in my head. This is not a jam, but it's still great.

I'm honestly very surprised that this song made it as far as it did. As I find it somewhat catchy, the lyrics are weird. It's like the 2.0 version of Kiiara - Gold. Gold was better tho and it's pretty much a copy of the song but in a more tense way. I'm being really honest rn, it's still at least a decent song in some way.

Extra #29:
Ed Sheeran - Castle On The Hill
Hits 1 Peak: #1
My Opinion: Bad
Ed Sheeran is sometimes a great singer, but sometimes, he's just plain out bad. Castle On The Hill is one of his bad songs. I'm sorry for the ones that like it but I'm seriously not a fan of this song. Ed Sheeran goes a bit too messy in the chorus and he shouldn't be so high pitched. The production also gets in me.

Extra #30:
Zedd/Jon Bellion - Beautiful Now
Hits 1 Peak: #15
My Opinion: Great
This is a very unique EDM track from Zedd. It's a lot better than his newer stuff that he's released. Now this song is actual EDM and it's not so generic. I still don' think it's his best song. His best was the collaboration he did with Ariana in Break Free which is my all time favorite.

Extra #31:
Charli XCX - After The Afterparty
Hits 1 Peak: #15
My Opinion: Good
I can see why this is hated on tho. It's a kiddie voice. I hold the unpopular opinion on liking this song. As it's not a great song, I actually like the production. What brings this song down is the chorus. I think it's annoying but good at the same time.

I'm not a huge fan of Echosmith myself. I believe that Bright is their best song but this song isn't too far behind. I think the lyrics are great and meaningful but what lowers my ranking is their voice. They're a Taylor Swift ripoff. I bet many people think that Echosmith has Taylor Swift. At least this song got out.

Imagine Dragons was a lot better during the Smokes & Mirrors and Night Visions era. I do like this song but it is overplayed as hell. It's also a really easy song to get sick of because of the repetition. But it's still a fun song though.

Unfortunately, Dylan is the first person to lose his entire top 5 and is the only person to not have any top 5 songs in the final 10, sorry Dylan.

Extra #32:
Rudimental/Ed Sheeran - Lay It All On Me
Hits 1 Peak: #10
My Opinion: Good
Rudimental is an okay DJ. I like some of his song and hate others. This song is by far their best song. Despite it being there best song, it's still not great. I'd rather listen to the remix over the one that Hits 1 picked up because the remix adds so much to it.

Extra #33:
DJ Snake/Aluna George - You Know You Like It
Hits 1 Peak: #14
My Opinion: Great
This song is DJ Snake's best song to date. This song was originally released in 2011 but added Aluna George to the song in the end of 2014. I find her voice to be very catchy in the song. I also think that it's a bit repetitive, but more so in a good way. This song kinda has generic EDM but it's still great. It's one of the generic songs that I like.

Extra #34:
Fall Out Boy - My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)
Hits 1 Peak: #1
My Opinion: Decent
Out of all the songs that were on the Hits 1 countdown, this song, as far as I know currently has the longest countdown tenure in the entire SXM history. It debuted all the was back in February 2013 and it stayed all the way until May of 2014. It's total tenure is 66 weeks. This is why that the song isn't as good as it used to be. I still think that it's a decent song, but Hits 1 overrated it like crazy. Because of this, I'm never going to like it as much as it came out anymore.

I love the majority of Bebe Rexha's music. This is definitely no exception. Her vocals are just mesmerizing for the most part. The chorus is probably the best part of the song. The na-na-na-na-na part is catchy. I also like how she tries to hit those high notes. The production is the best thing about this song.

This song is a jam. This is by far G-Eazy's best. Bebe also sounds really good here. This collab is just awesome. I can't believe that these 2 would do such a thing. I remember jamming out to this song when it was popular back then.

Bebe had 2 songs revealed today.

Extra #35:
Discolsure/Lorde - Magnets
Hits 1 Peak: #20
My Opinion: Mediocre
I'm sorry but I really don't like this song. I do like Lorde's vocals though. She is one of those singers that can actually sing. I'm just not a fan of Disclosure's production here. It's pretty bad and it almost ruins the song for me.

Extra #36:
Macklemore/Ryan Lewis/Wanz - Thrift Shop
Hits 1 Peak: #1
My Opinion: Great
Macklemore's is  usually one of the good rappers we have. As we did get GOD revealed, you'll know that Thrift Shop is far better. I find the production to be catchy and I actually like Wanz's voice despite him being sounded like a kid. I honestly think that Macklemore was better when he was with Ryan Lewis as opposed to right now.

Extra #37:
Justin Timberlake/Chris Stapleton - Say Something
Hits 1 Peak: #17
My Opinion: Decent
Along with Macklemore, Justin Timberlake is also going downhill in his career. I don't get the appeal though. This song is tolerable and a step up from Filthy which was just a mess. I also wasn't a fan of his Superbowl performance last year.

Eminem isn't an amazing rapper and I'm not as much of a big stan like Adrian is. This song is by far Eminem's best song. It's his second collab with Rihanna with his first one being Love The Way You Lie. I really think that this was back when Rihanna was great and not a trashy singer like right now.

3 people ranked this #1, Nick, Adrian, and Matthew. Scott S, CC, and Grandpa all have their entire top 5 gone. Anonymous clears his bottom 5 by being the last person losing its bottom ranking and entire bottom 5.

Extra #38:
Fall Out Boy - Champion
Hits 1 Peak: #15
My Opinion: Great
Fall Out Boy has shown a lot of improvement after the crappy Young & Menace which happily didn't even make the countdown. I do like Fall Out Boy as a band but a lot of their songs are overrated. This song isn't, however one of them. I think that the best in the chorus is catchy and it show that FOB's talent continues.

Extra #39:
Mary J. Blige - Therapy
Hits 1 Peak: #22
My Opinion: Crap
This song definitely deserves to be in the crap tier. I really think that this song is awful. Mary sounds bad in all her songs and this song is no exception. The production is also bland and boring. I seriously don't know why a song like this even made Hits 1.

Extra #40:
Alessia Cara - Wild Things
Hits 1 Peak: #18
My Opinion: Bad
Unlike others who thinks that she's going downhill in her career. I actually think the opposite. She doesn't show her vocals in this song or here though. The song is boring for the most part. That's all I have to say about this song.

Why Billboard Boi? This song is just great in every way. I think this song should've won but at least it made the top 2. I'm actually happy enough that it already won Lukas' rankdown. I doesn't really need to win another.

Lukas is the last person to lose his #1 which means no #1s won this RD. This song also has the highest median.

And the winner is...

This wasn't as much of a deserving winner as LMH, but I'll take it. This is back when EDM was unique and not as generic as it is now. Ellie Goulding does add a lot to the song well. I think this vibe is really catchy. I'm also surprised the highest rank in this song was #4 and it still won. I can see why people ranked it high though.

This song is the only song to not have a red or orange ranking. Also, everyone ranked this song in the green/purple zone except for 1.
