#1 Song This Week One Year Ago: Taylor Swift – Blank Space

Biggest DROP!!!... Of The Week: Panic! At The Disco – Victorious (–16)

Biggest Jump Of The Week: Jason Derulo – Get Ugly (+10)

New Entrants:
• Charlie Puth has a new song on the countdown called One Call Away. It's really catchy and it better last for very long. I will get sick of it eventually if it's on the countdown for long enough. Let's see how far this one goes.

• Twenty One Pilots has a new song that I used to hate. Stressed Out is really good and much better than Tear In My Heart. Trance really loves this song because of the duo. They can really sing in this song but the lyrics can be a problem. Let's see if this song lasts long enough for my opinion to change.

HitBound:
  • Tori Kelly – Hollow
  • 5 Seconds Of Summer – Jet Black Heart
  • Adam Lambert – Another Lonely Night
  • Disclosure/Lorde – Magnets
  • Tove Lo – Moments
  • Conrad Sewell – Hold Me Up
  • Jacob Whitesides – Secrets
  • Nelly/Jeremih – The Fix
  • The Vamps – Wake Up
  • MØ – Kamikaze
  • Coldplay – Adventure Of A Lifetime
  • One Direction – Infinity
  • BØRNS – Electric Love
  • Tryon – Somebody To Love Me

Electric Blurb:
• Tori Kelly - Hollow is very catchy.

• 5 Seconds Of Summer - Jet Black Heart is also very catchy.

• One Direction - Infinity is my favorite song on HitBound.

• BØRNS - Electric Love is good, but not great.

• Conrad Sewell - Hold Me Up should've left HitBound by now.

Top 5 HitBound:
1. One Direction - Infinity
2. The Vamps - Wake Up
3. Tryon - Somebody To Love Me
4. Tove Lo - Moments
5. Tori Kelly - Hollow

Only We've Got One Blurb Away:
• The 2 songs we said goodbye to today were really good songs and I don't know why Hits 1 has to get rid of them so early.

• The biggest jump is unacceptable once again so let's not let this happen in 2016.

• That drop from Justin Bieber - Sorry was unexpected but I'm losing interest in that song so it's okay for me.

• Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud has lasted a year unfortunately.

• Adele - Hello is still at #1 and I'm already getting more sick of it so please leave that spot.

• Fifth Harmony - Worth It has aired a lot but it only managed to jump 5 spots unfortunately.

• Adele - When We Are Young shouldn't be dropping on its second week because an artist with a song reaching #1 on its 3rd week shouldn't have a song dropping so early.

• I don't like how Walk The Moon - Shut Up And Dance re-entered the top 5 and One Direction - Perfect left the top 5.

• Speaking of the top 5, Taylor Swift - Wildest Dreams needs to leave there ASAP.

• This week's #25, #26, and #27 held their spots from last week.

• One Direction - Drag Me Down went from an absolutely awesome song to a song that I over listened and I would like it to be gone by the end of January.

Most Missed Song: Omi - Cheerleader

Countdown Grade: D

Top 5 Picks:
1. Fifth Harmony - Worth It
2. One Direction - Perfect
3. The Weeknd - In The Night
4. Shawn Mendes/Camila Cabello - I Know What You Did Last Summer
5. R. City/Adam Levine - Locked Away

Biggest DROP!!!... Of The Week: Audien/Lady Antebellum – Something Better (–29)

Biggest Jump Of The Week: Panic! At The Disco – Victorious (+20)

New Entrants:
Well go from the worst to best entrants. Nathiniel Rateliff & The Night Sweat - S.O.B. sounds just like a 50's song. Also, these guys can't use good lyrics in a song. I hate this song so much and it better not last very long.

Next, we have Jason Derulo - Get Ugly which is another bad debut. What's the good message in this song? It's just plain out bad. His voice is good but the music playing in the background is just awful. This is another song that shouldn't last very long.

Adele - When We Were Young is really good but it's just another slow song. The lyrics are very good but this girl can sing. This song isn't as good as Hello but it's still very good. Let's see if I will get sick of this song.

The best of the 4 entrants is Shawn Mendes/Camila Cabello - I Know What You Did Last Summer. The reason why it's so good is because Camila Cabello is in it. She's from Fifth Harmony which I really like. There is a very good message and this song should last very long.

I Know What You Blurbed Last Summer:
• Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud is one week away from lasting a year so please leave next week so that you wouldn't last a year.

• Thank god we got rid of the right amount of trash for 3 consecutive weeks in a row.

• Both the biggest jump and biggest drop were unexpected.

• Ariana Grande - Focus may not stay any time longer unfortunately.

• Walk The Moon - Shut Up And Dance needs to leave the top 10 immediately.

• Fifth Harmony - Worth It should not be dropping.

• Taylor Swift - Out Of The Woods needs be jumping into the top 10.

• The top 10 doesn't look very good and it needs some cleaning out to do.

• Also, why did Rudimental/Ed Sheeran - Lay It All On Me jump to the top 10 this week?

•  Let's have One Direction - Perfect take over the #1 spot instead of Adele - Hello.

Now, here's the songs that need to leave because they're bad or old:
• Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud
• Macklemore & Ryan Lewis/Eric Nally - Downtown
• Pentatonix - Can't Sleep Love
• Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweat - S.O.B.
• Wiz Khalifa/Charlie Puth - See You Again
• Jason Derulo - Get Ugly
• X Ambassadors - Renegades
• The Weeknd - Can't Feel My Face
• Ed Sheeran - Photograph
• Alessia Cara - Here
• Sam Hunt - House Party
• Daya - Hideaway
• Rudimental/Ed Sheeran - Lay It All On Me
• Little Mix - Black Magic
• Walk The Moon - Shut Up And Dance
• Taylor Swift - Wildest Dreams

Most Missed Song: Taylor Swift - Blank Space

Countdown Grade: C+

Top 5 Picks:
1. Fifth Harmony - Worth It
2. R. City/Adam Levine - Locked Away
3. One Direction - Perfect
4. Shawn Mendes/Camila Cabello - I Know What You Did Last Summer
5. Ariana Grande - Focus

2015 A Year In Review

2015 A Year In Review

I really like 2015 so much and I can't believe it went so fast. Here's all of the songs hit #1 this year.
Number 1 Parade:
• WALK THE MOON - Shut Up And Dance (12 Weeks) [Tied For All Time Record]
• Taylor Swift - Blank Space (5 Weeks) (6 Weeks Total)
• Adele - Hello (5 Weeks)
• Mark /Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk (4 Weeks)
• Wiz Khalifa/Charlie Puth - See You Again (4 Weeks)
• Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud (3 Weeks)
• Shawn Mendes - Stitches (3 Weeks)
• Fall Out Boy - Centuries (2 Weeks)
• Maroon 5 - Sugar (2 Weeks)
• Ellie Goulding - Love Me Like You Do (2 Weeks)
• Taylor Swift - Bad Blood (2 Weeks)
• Taylor Swift - Style (1 Week)
• Andy Grammar - Honey I'm Good (1 Week)
• Ed Sheeran - Photograph (1 Week)
• The Weeknd - Can't Feel My Face (1 Week)
• Taylor Swift - Wildest Dreams (1 Week)
• One Direction - Drag Me Down (1 Week)

There were a lot of good songs of 2015, but here's the list of the worst ones.

My Bottom 5 Songs Of 2015:
5. Nova Rockfellor - Made In Gold
4. Nate Ruess - Nothing Without Love
3. Priory - Weekend
2. Drake - Hotline Bling
1. MAX/Hoodie Allen - Gibberish

Tenure Trophies:
There are a lot of songs having short tenures and some others that had longer tenures. Some songs lasted only 3 weeks this year but none of those songs had the shortest tenure of 2015. There was one song that only lasted 2 weeks on the countdown this year. This song actually re-entered so it was there for 1 week and then another week.

Shortest Tenure Of 2015: David Guetta/Sam Martin - Dangerous 2 Weeks, Debuted 1/10/15, Left 1/17, Re-Entered 1/31/15, Left Again 2/7/15

Now, our longest tenured song is still here. It almost lasted a year but it's still here. I'm really sick of this song but it was great at the start.

Longest Tenure Of 2015: Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud (Debuted 12/27/14, Still There)

I decided to call the breakout artists the new artists of 2015. There were very good ones and very bad ones but here's the best and worst breakout artists of 2015.

Best Breakout Artist of 2015: Omi

Worst Breakout Artist of 2015: MAX

With all the songs that were in HitBound, a lot of them didn't even graduate to the countdown. Here's all of the HitBound dropouts of 2015.

What I'm going to do with these 30 songs is to choose the best one. The best song that never graduated HitBound is called the Lights Over Paris Award. I got that name from CountdownRecap by a band he didn't like. They produced a song called Turn Off The Lights which was on HitBound a long time ago but never graduated to the countdown. My Light Over Paris Award is a song that I fell in love with. I was really disappointed when it didn't make the countdown but here it is.

Lights Over Paris HitBound Hero Award: Steve Aoki/Moxie - I Love It When You Cry

There have been a bunch of songs that weren't added to Hits 1. Some of them were really good and some of them were really bad. The Biggest Whiff Of 2015 is the song I like the most of the year that didn't get added into the Hits 1 playlist. I got to say that I had a parody of this song of my cheer in camp. It's a very young guy who sings it and I dance to it a lot. It was in the American Top 40 and The Billboard but was never here.

Biggest Whiff Of 2015: Silento - Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)

There was a song that I really like so much but I didn't even become really popular. I really wanted it to be but things don't always go the way you want them to. Here's the song that should've made big this year.

Song That Should've Made Big: Dove Cameron/Cameron Boyce/ Booboo Stewart/Sofia Carson - Rotten To The Core

My Top 45 Songs Of 2015
First of all, I only allow any song that was on the Sirius XM Hits 1 Weekend Countdown for at least 1 week in 2015. If it was on the YouTube 15, HitBound, or the Hits & Misses show, but not on the Weekend Countdown, it's not allowed to be on the list.

Second of all, any song that was in my Top 45 Songs Of 2014 will not be considered for the list. All the songs in my Bottom 5 Songs Of 2014 left in 2014 so I wouldn't list them. Here's the list of songs that were in my Top 45 Songs Of 2014 and left in 2015:
• Olivia Somerlyn - Parachute (#21)
• Calvin Harris/John Newman - Blame (#34)
• Mr. Probes/Robin Schulz - Waves (#13)
• 5 Seconds Of Summer - Amnesia (#18)
• Tove Lo - Habits (#28)
• Selena Gomez - The Heart Wants What It Wants (#22)
• Ariana Grande/Zedd - Break Free (#1)
• Maroon 5 - Maps (#37)
• Meghan Trainor - All About That Bass (#15)
• Maroon 5 - Animals (#25)
• 5 Seconds Of Summer - She Looks So Perfect (#42)
• Charli XCX - Boom Clap (#33)
• OneRepublic - Love Runs Out (#12)
• The Vamps/Demi Lovato - Somebody To You (#10)
• MKTO - American Dream (#19)
• Alesso/Tove Lo - Heroes (#7)
• Taylor Swift - Shake It Off (#27)
• Sam Smith - I'm Not The Only One (#41)
• One Direction/Zayn Malik - Night Changes (#29)
• Taylor Swift - Blank Space (#6)
• Nick Jonas - Jealous (#9)

Third of all, the cutoff date is after Thanksgiving so any song that debuted December 5, 2015 or later will neither be considered in my Top 45 Songs Of 2015 nor Bottom 5 Songs Of 2015, but they will either be deferred in my Top 45 Songs Of 2016, my Bottom 5 Songs Of 2016, or neither. Here's the list of songs that debuted after Thanksgiving of 2015:
• The Weeknd - In The Night*
• Taylor Swift - Out Of The Woods**
• DNCE - Cake By The Ocean
• Gwen Stefani - Used To Love You
• Nathinal Rateliff & The Night Sweat - S.O.B.
• Adele - When We Were Young
• Jason Derulo - Get Ugly
• Shawn Mendes/Camila Cabello - I Know What You Did Last Summer*
* It was going to be in my Top 45 Songs Of 2015 if it didn't debut too late, but it will be considered in my Top 45 Songs Of 2016.

** It actually re-entered too late in 2015. It was on the weekend countdown for 1 week in 2014 but it was listed here because it wasn't in my Top 45 Songs Of 2014.

My Top 45 Songs Of 2015:
45. Life Of Dillon - Overload
This song is just really good. I really like Life Of Dillon's voice and this song just sounds like a tropical paradise.
44. Pitbull/Ne-Yo - Time Of Our Lives
I really like Pitbull and Ne-Yo singing together and to produce this song. These guys are excellent singers as a duet.
43. One Direction/Zayn Malik - Where Do Broken Hearts Go
This song unfortunately wasn't played on any other stations. This song has a great beat.
42. Charlie Puth/Meghan Tranior - Marvin Gaye
Charlie Puth is really creative with his music. This song did have a decent amount of time on the countdown but it lasted too long.
41. Maroon 5 - Feelings
I really think that this song is awesome. A lot of people are upset when it left the weekend countdown.
40. MKTO - Bad Girls
This song is a really catchy song that I easily got sick of. BTW, MKTO needs to go back uphill with his music.
39. Tove Lo - Talking Body
Very catchy song that stayed on the countdown for very long. I really like Tove Lo and alternative music and this is just a catchy title.
38. 5 Seconds Of Summer - Hey Everybody!
I really agree with Parker that this is a copy of She's Kinda Hot. It just had to make the list because it's very good.
37. Calvin Harris/Ellie Goulding - Outside
Ellie Goulding can really hit the high notes in this song. This song should've had a longer tenure.
36. All Time Low - Something's Gotta Give
I really like All Time Low and I got sick of this one pretty fast. Well, here it is in the list.
35. Ariana Grande - Focus
This sounds like her 2014 hit, Problem but in a louder voice. She's a really good singer but the random guy yelling is kinda annoying.
34. Meghan Trainor - Lips Are Movin'
This just had to be in my list. It's hands down Meghan Trainor's best song.
33. Taylor Swift - Style
She really doesn't go out of style in her music. I really agree with the lyrics in this song.
32. Selena Gomez - Same Old Love
I really like Selena Gomez but this song should've done better. I think that it's too slow to be ranked higher.
31. Taylor Swift/Kendrick Llamar - Bad Blood
Very violent song but very catchy at the same time. I just can stand watching the video though.
30. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis/Eric Nally - Downtown
It's a real shame that it still on the countdown. I got sick of it very fast but it was still good enough to make the list.
29. 5 Seconds Of Summer - She's Kinda Hot
I don't know what's so bad about this, Parker. I love 5 Seconds Of Summer and this song had to make the list.
28. Ariana Grande/The Weeknd - Love Me Harder
I was really upset when this song only lasted 8 weeks on the weekend countdown. I'm a really big fan of Ariana Grande.
27. The Weeknd - Can't Feel My Face
I'm already sick of this song. I can live with it for now but this song is hands down catchy.
26. OneRepublic - I Lived
I love OneRepublic and I try to listen to them very often. I'm just glad that it wasn't ranked on the list last year because it debuted too late in that year.
25. David Guetta/Afrojack/Nicki Minaj/Bebe Rexha - Hey Mama
David Guetta doesn't disappoint me in this song. I just think that it's a big improvement from Nicki Minaj since she had produced my worst song of all time.

This song got kicked out too early. It had lasted a sweet life and I never got sick of it.
21. Maroon 5 - Sugar
Adam Levine's falsetto isn't too bad in this song as it is in Feelings. I can't even believe Adrian hates this song even though Maroon 5 is is favorite band.

This is Zedd's best song besides of my all time favorite song, Break Free. Well, I love this song with the addition of Selena Gomez.

I feel really happy about this song. I really thing it shouldn't have left so soon though.

Sadly, this song is most likely going to be gone within the next few week. It's not his best song though because he had better music.

This girl is only a teenager and she has talent. It definitely deserved to be in my top 10.
6. Fifth Harmony - Sledgehammer
This song debuted too late in 2014 unfortunately, so I couldn't be in that chart. But here it is, is this year's chart.
5. One Direction - Drag Me Down
This is all time One Direction's best song. I almost never got sick of it but I did like so many other songs did.

You got me Chains for my love because this is just an amazing song. No other Nick Jonas song can top this song.

This song was another song that left so soon. I was really upset when it left, even there was a guest host.
1. Fifth Harmony - Worth It
