New Entrants:

First, we’ve got Alec Benjamin - If We Have Each Other. To be honest, this song is a step down from Let Me Down Slowly. This guy has talent but I really don’t see it in this song. It may be a grower but for now, it’s decent.

Martin Garrix is back with Summer Days. Hits 1 only added this song because of Patrick Stump and Macklemore. Patrick is pretty good and all. Even though Macklemore is selling out, I like his verse here. This isn’t like actual EDM, but I’ll still take it.

Andy Grammer - Don’t Give Up On Me is good, but forgettable as hell. He was a lot better with Give Love from 2017. I do like this song for finding it catchy, but Andy’s vocals could be better. It won’t be very long before I get sick of this song.

Ava Max will sell out immediately if she keeps on releasing songs that sound the same. So Am I sound exactly the same as Sweet But Psycho for some reason. Ava lacks originality to her songs which is seriously not okay. This girl needs to go uphill.

Khalid - Talk is pretty generic to be honest. I don’t think this beat is that original and I’m usually not a fan of Khalid. Love Lies will probably always be his best song no matter what.

Katy Perry - Never Really Over was produced by Zedd who sold out. His music is not really EDM anymore but I like some of his generic songs. I do like this song and I don’t think Katy got sold out just yet. I have a feeling that this song is going to be another flop. Katy hasn’t had a real hit since Dark Horse.

Truth Hurts still doesn’t show Lizzo’s talent, One Thought Away is underwhelming, Make You Mine is decent but from 2014, Mother’s Daughter shows that Miley is moving back up, Find U Again is just really catchy, Rescue Me is solid, and 100 Bad Days is a better AJR song but still not a good song.

Panic! At The Disco - High Hopes is apparently going to last a year. Just please don’t do it.

BTS is more popular in Korean radio which is why Boy With Luv dropping this week. I’d like to see more of these guys on Hits 1. Definitely after Fake Love which was kinda underwhelming in my opinion.

Sadly, Ariana Grande - 7 Rings is most likely going to be gone by the end of June. It was nice having it around.

Can Imagine Dragons - Bad Liar please start dropping instead of repeatedly entering and exiting the top 10? It’s ridiculous that this song was most wutchuwanted despite it flopping elsewhere. However, it’ll most likely start falling by the next month.

Jordan McGraw - Flexible is apparently flopping on Hits 1 which is a good thing.

I’m glad to see that Lil Nas X/Billy Ray Cyrus - Old Town Road is don’t doing as well on Hits 1. If it leaves within’ the next few weeks, that would be nice.

Out of all the Billie Eilish songs in the countdown, Bad Guy was most definitely deserved of the biggest jump. In fact, this is her only great song.

I’m slowly losing interest in Panic! At The Disco - Dancing’s Not A Crime. I honestly don’t see this song anywhere near as successful as High Hopes.

As far as the exits go, Medicine definitely deserved better. It’s too bad Jennifer keeps on flopping now. Power Is Power lasting only one week was unacceptable because this is a great song. I kinda hope this song reenters but oh well. I’ve Been Waiting has been getting old so I’m glad it’s gone. Now, the 3 exits that deserved to go were Better, Shallow, and Juice. Juice and Shallow were both underwhelming and Better was really old. I will not miss the former 2 tho.

New Entrants:

I’m going to kick off with the new entrants with Lewis Capaldi - Someone You Loved. I don’t see how people can like this song. Lewis has a bad voice and it doesn’t suit for the production of the song either. I’ve had this song as mediocre but it got worse. Sorry but Lewis doesn’t have a very good voice.

After a few steps up with Alessia Cara, she has gone down again. I like a more fast paced Alessia Cara other that a slower paced. She isn’t that good at singing ballads. She needs to be going a few steps up other than down. However, I do not see this song lasting very long.

NOTD is back collaborating with Felix Jaehn, Captain Cuts, and Georgia Ku. I’d have to say, I’ve been growing into this song lately. I really don’t like a lot of generic EDM but this is pretty much catchy in my opinion. I don’t love it but I’ll still take it.

Ugh, MAX is back after Gibberish which was one of my least favorite songs of 2015 and Lights Down Low which lasted way too long on the countdown. His collaboration with Quinn XCII also isn’t working. Love Me Less kinda sounds like HandClap which was one of my least favorite songs from 2017. But to be honest, he isn’t capable of being a singer at all.

Now, I’m starting to get into Billie Eilish more and more. Bury A Friend has became pretty catchy and she is starting to show her true talent. After You Should See Me In A Crown which was one of the worst songs from last year, I can finally see her going uphill. If she keeps it that way, she’ll be producing more good music.

Bury A Blurb:

Both of the songs that had the biggest jump had unexpected ones. Imagine Dragons - Bad Liar is flopping on many countdowns yet Hits 1 is still holding it. Also, I seriously thought Twenty One Pilots - Chlorine would’ve flopped like their other songs from Trench. However, both jumps probably won’t last very long because they only jumped 8 spots.

I’m not happy about the biggest drop this week. Avril Lavigne is a great singer and Nicki Minaj is also good when she collars with Dumb Blonde. I see another Avril flop.

I’m very happy that Anne-Marie - 2002 yet survived another 5 exit week.

I’m still happy that Jonas Brothers - Sucker is holding the #1 spot instead of a bad song hitting the spot.

Man, FLETCHER - Undrunk fell down to the bottom 5 this week. I’d knew that this song would’ve been a flop.

What’s with Dean Lewis - Be Alright reentering the top 20? I do assume people still like this song. However, I’m not one of them.

Lizzo - Juice I slowly fading away on me. Don’t be surprised if it’s going to be in red within the next few weeks.

Can Hits 1 please let go of Ariana Grande - Thank U, Next? I really don’t want to see myself hate an Ariana Grande song for being still on the countdown. I seriously had enough of this song at that point.

Ciara - Thinkin Bout You is a destined flop.

It’s ridiculous that Halsey - Without Me is still in the top 5. This song is so annoying and it needs to leave that spot forever.

As far as the exits go, 5 Seconds Of Summer - Youngblood and Khalid/Normani - Love Lies overstayed and they should’ve both left a long time ago. Cardi B/Bruno Mars- Please Me was kinda old and it would’ve been much better if it wasn’t for Cardi B. Kelsea Ballerini - Miss Me More and Maren Morris - GIRL didn’t deserve to be flops. I’m sad to see both of them go.
