#1 Song This Week One Year Ago: Hailee Steinfeld & Alesso/Florida Georgia Line/watt – Let Me Go (1)

Biggest DROP!!!... Of The Week: Tie Between Seeb/Bastille – Grip and Cardi B/Bruno Mars – Please Me (–15)

Biggest Jump Of The Week: Lauv/Troye Sivan – I'm So Tired (+18)

New Entrants:
Our only entrant has debuted way high up at #7. This is the highest debut we’ve ever had in history. This is like since Hits 1 came out back in 2001. But TBH, I followed Hits 1 since 2008 and I don’t remember the countdowns from back then. This song is great. I’m also happy that the Jonas brothers reunited back together after like 5 years of hiatus. They’ve been talented as a group. As this song debuts so high, it’s probably going to have a long run.

HitBound:
  • NOTD/Felix Jaehn/Georgia Wu/Captain Cuts – So Close (DEBUT)
  • Avril Lavigne/Nicki Minaj – Dumb Blonde
  • lovelytheband – Maybe, I'm Afraid
  • Louis Tomlinson – Two Of Us
  • Bebe Rexha – Last Hurrah
  • Billie Eilish – Bury A Friend
  • Panic! At The Disco – Dancing's Not A Crime
  • Fletcher – Undrunk (DEBUT)
  • Austin Brown – In Betweenin'
  • Ally Brooke – Low Key
  • Kelsy Karter – Harry
  • Ariana Grande – Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored (DEBUT)
  • LSD/Lil Wayne – Genius
  • P!nk – Walk Me Home
  • Kygo/Valerie Broussard – Think About You
So Close doesn’t reach the height of I Wanna Know, Undrunk is catchy, and BUWYG,IM is a step down from 7 Rings but it’s still great.

Top 5 HitBound:
  1. Bebe Rexha - Last Hurrah
  2. Ariana Grande - Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored
  3. Avril Lavigne/Nicki Minaj - Dumb Blonde
  4. Louis Tomlinson - Two Of Us
  5. Ally Brooke - Low Key

Blurber:
I’m happy that Panic! At The Disco - Hey Look Ma, I Made It is in the #1 spot as I actually grew back into it.

I thought I would never lose interest in Ariana Grande - Thank U, Next. But in fact, I did. It’s time for it to go.

The point that Lauv/Troye Sivan - I’m So Tired was the biggest jump is unacceptable. Can this song just flop, please?

Apparently, Cardi B/Bruno Mars - Please Me isn’t going to last much longer. It would’ve been a lot better if Cardi was a great rapper, but she isn’t.

Dan + Shay - Tequila took it’s deserved drop out of the top 10.

Speaking of Dan + Shay and songs dropping, Speechless dropped out of the top 20. It’s worse than Tequila and I’ll be please if it leaves before Tequila even though neither of them are good.

Please let Ariana Grande - 7 Ring hit #1 at some point.

Jennifer Lopez - Limitless spent almost its entire time in the bottom 5. The good news it that they removed it from the poll. It’ll probably leave for good next week.

I’m A Mess is doing strong. Stay in the countdown as long as you’d like.

As far as the exits go, Sicko Mode was the only song that left and it should’ve had a longer tenure than 4 weeks.

Most Missed Countdown Song: The Weeknd/Daft Punk - I Feel It Coming

Throwback Pick: Linkin Park - Numb (2001)

#1 Recommendation For Hits 1: Why Don’t We - Big Plans

Favorite Countdown Song This Week Last Year: Florida Georgia Line/Bebe Rexha - Meant To Be

Biggest DROP!!!... Of The Week: Ariana Grande – Thank U, Next (–8)

Biggest Jump Of The Week: Tie Between Lauren Daigle – You Say and Cardi B/Bruno Mars – Please Me (+7)

New Entrants:
Ugh, Lauv is back with I'm So Tired. I'd say that this is better than ILMB and There's No Way but it's still bad. I don't think this song is lasting very long on the countdown which is a good thing.

Why do we add in a Post Malone song that is worse than Sunflower. I find Wow to be a bad song overall. I'm definitely not wowed from the song at all. I know he's not a goo rapper and all but seriously? This song is boring.

Just like Adrian's opinion on Expectations, I hate Apologize because of Grandson's voice. I like the production but I'm not a fan of his voice. This may grow into me though.

HitBound:
  • LSD/Lil Wayne – Genius
  • P!nk – Walk Me Home
  • Austin Brown – In Betweenin'
  • Kelsy Karter – Harry
  • Ally Brooke – Low Key
  • Panic! At The Disco – Dancing's Not A Crime
  • Maren Morris – GIRL
  • Kygo/Valerie Broussard – Think About You
  • Avril Lavigne/Nicki Minaj – Dumb Blonde (DEBUT)
  • Bebe Rexha – Last Hurrah (DEBUT)
  • Yungblud/Halsey/Travis Barker – 11 Minutes
  • Meghan Trainor – All The Ways
  • Billie Eilish – Bury A Friend (DEBUT)
  • Madison Beer – Hurts Like Hell
  • lovelytheband – Maybe, I'm Afraid
  • Louis Tomlinson – Two Of Us (DEBUT)
Dumb Blonde has a catchy vibe to it, Last Hurrah is another amazing song from Bebe, fuck you Hits 1 in adding Billie Eilish, and Two Of Us is pretty good.

Top 5 HitBound:
1. Bebe Raxha - Last Hurrah
2. Ally Broke - Low Key
3. Meghan Trainor - All The Ways
4. Austin Brown - In Betweenin'
5. Avril Lavigne/Nicki Minaj - Dumb Blonde

2. Bebe Rexha - I'm A Mess
3. Anne-Marie - 2002

Biggest DROP!!!... Of The Week: 5 Seconds Of Summer – Youngblood (–16)

Biggest Jump Of The Week: Sam Smith/Normani – Dancing With A Stranger (+21)

New Entrants:
Once when I though it wasn’t going to make the countdown, Lil Peep/iLoveMakonnen/Fall Out Boy - I’ve Been Waiting. The only part of the song that really appeals me is Fall Out Boy’s verse. I can’t stand the other 2 rappers’ verse. As it’s not an awful song, it’s still pretty bad.

I’m actually happy that Machine flopped as we get a song from them better than that. I didn’t like Bad Liar at first because I thought it was boring, but it became such a catchy song. It’s about time they get another good song as I’m sick of Natural. I have a feeling this is going to stick around much longer than Machine.

HitBound:
  • lovelytheband – Maybe, I'm Afraid
  • Post Malone – Wow
  • Maren Morris – GIRL
  • P!nk – Walk Me Home (DEBUT)
  • Madison Beer – Hurts Like Hell
  • Panic! At The Disco – Dancing's Not A Crime
  • Kelsy Karter – Harry
  • Austin Brown – In Betweenin' (DEBUT)
  • Meghan Trainor – All The Ways
  • Ally Brooke – Low Key (DEBUT)
  • Grandson – Apologize
  • Jonas Brothers – Sucker (DEBUT)
  • LSD/Lil Wayne – Genius
  • Yungblud/Halsey/Travis Barker – 11 Minutes
  • Lauv/Troye Sivan – I'm So Tired
  • Kygo/Valerie Broussard – Think About You (DEBUT)
Walk Me Home and In Betweenin’ are boring but still decent, Low Key is pretty catchy, I very happy that the Jonas Brothers are back with Sucker, and I think that Think About You has a pretty good production.

Top 5 HitBound:
  1. Jonas Brothers - Sucker
  2. Meghan Trainor - All The Ways
  3. Ally Brooke - Low Key
  4. Maren Morris - GIRL
  5. Madison Beer - Hurts Like Hell

I’ve Been Blurbing:
The point that they got rid of great songs instead of trash and old songs is just ridiculous. Both of these songs were in my top 5 last week and they should’ve lasted a lot longer. This is the reason why almost the entire bottom 5 is filled with bad songs.

I definitely agree with this week’s biggest jump and drop. Dancing With A Stranger has grown more into me because of Normani and I don’t see myself getting sick of it anytime soon. Youngblood on the other hand is old and got very annoying and I would appreciate it if it left soon.

I’m also very happy about our lone top 10 entrant this week. 7 Rings is amazing and is a well deserved top 10 song.

Dan + Shay - Speechless should not be jumping back into the top 20.

Also, 2002 shouldn’t be dropping out of the top 10.

Unfortunately, I do not see Zedd/Katy Perry - 365 or Stephen Puth - Sexual Vibe lasting long on the countdown. Even though they’re great songs, they’re still pretty much fillers.

As we’ve had a 6+ exit week 2 weeks ago, I think we’re now due for yet another one. It could actually get rid of most of the trash we’ve had in the bottom third. However, I know I’ve Been Waiting probably won’t leave within the next few weeks, unless it flops.

Halsey - Without Me dropping should be a good thing not just for me, but everyone else in the blogging community.

Because of being stuck in the #45 spot, Bebe Rexha - I’m A Mess will be most likely leaving next week. However, it may be like In My Blood where I expected it to leave the week after but it still stays.

Despite its drop, Imagine Dragons - Natural has now been officially annoying. Please get out of the countdown, soon.

Travis Scott/Drake has made a rebound with Sicko Mode. It’s not a great song tho. I don’t think it’s going to last.

Most Missed Song: Taylor Swift - Blank Space

Throwback Pick: Kylie Minogue - Can’t Get You Out Of My Head (2001)
