Charlie Puth (1), Week Of March 19, 2016

The up - and - downhill this is like going on forever. I specifically don't know why this keeps happening. Hits 1 is also really behind with their music. I couldn't put a Hits 1 recommendation because I have too many. My sister has a dance recital tomorrow. She's in 5 out of the 35 songs. #1 Song This Week One Year Ago: Ed Sheeran – Thinking Out Loud

Biggest DROP!!!... Of The Week: One Direction – Drag Me Down (–23)

Biggest Jump Of The Week: Tie Between Taylor Swift – New Romantics and Fall Out Boy/Demi Lovato – Irresistible (+17)

New Entrants:
• We The Kings - The Story Of Tonight is pretty decent. I really like the group's vocals in this song.

• James Bay - Let It Go is a really catchy song. Let's see how long this song will go. I may get sick of it or I may not.

Let It Blurb:
• What the heck is with Twenty One Pilots - Stressed Out at #21? This is beyond irritating and it needs to be fixed ASAP.

• Speaking of Twenty One Pilots, Stressed Out is coincidentialy at #21 and the underlined word is the coincidence.

• Why in the world did Fall Out Boy/Demi Lovato - Irresistible have the biggest jump of the week?

• Jason Derulo - Get Ugly is still here. It left the AT40 this week but why didn't it leave here?

• Can we not have Sorry higher than Love Yourself? Love Yourself needs to stay a while longer.

• We should now rejoice as One Direction - Drag Me Down had the biggest drop of the week.

• When I heard the exits, Spyder said that both of them were former #1 songs which was correct.

• There's a lot more good songs that last week and there's even 5 good songs in a row.

• Dawin - Dessert has spent most (all) of its tenure in the 20s.

• This week was another boring week after all. Next week should be the first week to have 5+ entrants in 2016 because Hits 1 is so behind.

• I don't want to have Flo Rida - My House in the top 5 this week.

• Andy Grammer - Good To Be Alive (Hallelujah) and Alessia Cara - Here are probably both going to leave next week.

• The top 3 is completely different from last week.

Most Missed Song: Taylor Swift - Bad Blood

Throwback Pick: Train - 50 Ways To Say Goodbye (2012)

Countdown Grade: C- (70%)

Top 5 Picks:
1. Twenty One Pilots - Stressed Out
2. Zayn Malik - Pillowtalk
3. One Direction - Perfect
4. Shawn Mendes/Camila Cabello - I Know What You Did Last Summer
5. Pitbull/Osmari Garcia/Lil Jon - El Taxi
(Notice how the top 5 are all the same songs from last week.)

Biggest DROP!!!... Of The Week: Jason Derulo – Get Ugly (–15)

Biggest Jump Of The Week: Tie Between Troye Sivan – Youth and Rihanna/Drake – Work (+16)

New Entrants:
• This week, our only new entrant comes from our guest host this week, Meghan Trainor. No is really good but I probably will get sick of it. Let's see how long this one goes.

New Blurbmantics:
• Taylor Swift has 3 songs all 10 spots away from each other so it still looks like that the rule still occurs on Hits 1.

• Shawn Mendes/Camilla Cabello - I Know What You Did Last Summer has stayed on the #10 spot for a 4 consecutive week in a row which is an oddly violate part of the countdown.

• What area the 2 Adele songs doing in the top 10?

• If we keep having 1 DTHNOB weeks, I will quit blogging the weekend countdown until we have more 6+ DTHNOBs.

• Alessia Cara - Here and Andy Grammer - Good To Be Alive (Hallelujah) are both seriously still on the countdown so I can spot a 6+ DTHNOB week in the future which will be possibly next week.

• I have no opinion on One Direction - Drag Me Down because it keeps reaching a dangerous spot and I don't even want to talk about it.

• Words cannot describe how annoying Panic! At The Disco - Victorious is, every time that song comes on, I change the radio station.

• I think that Hits 1 is well deserved on the biggest drop on the week and it should leave next week I hope.

• Rihanna - Work is so bad because it has Drake in it and definitely didn't deserve the biggest jump, but it's better than Get Ugly.

Most Missed Song: Flo Rida/Robin Thicke/Verdine White - I Don't Like It, I Love It

Throwback Pick: Enrique Iglesias - Tonight (I'm Lovin' You) (2011)

#1 Hits 1 Recommendation: Ariana Grande - Dangerous Woman

#1 Recommendation: Zayn Malik - Pillowtalk

Recommended Song To Leave Next Week: Jason Derulo - Get Ugly

Best Song On The YouTube 15: Zayn Malik - Pillowtalk

Worst Song On The YouTube 15: Rihanna/Drake - Work

Best Song On HitBound: Fifth Harmony/Ty Dolla $ign - Work From Home

Recommended HitBound Dropout: X Ambassadors - Unsteady

Countdown Grade: C+ (78%)

Top 5 Picks:
1. Twenty One Pilots - Stressed Out
2. One Direction - Perfect

5. Zayn Malik - Pillowtalk

#1 Song This Week 1 Year Ago: Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud

Biggest DROP!!!... Of The Week: Fall Out Boy/Demi Lovato - Irresistible (-17)

Biggest Jump Of The Week: Justin Bieber - Love Yourself (+11)

New Entrants:
• The reason why Rihanna/Drake - Work is so bad is because that Drake is in this song. Drake can't sing at all and I really don't like rap music nowadays, besides Fifth Harmony and a few more.

• Lukas Graham - 7 Years started to be okay because I thought it was crazy, but it's now catchy. I still don't think that the lyrics make any sense though. It probably won't be very long before I get sick of it. For now, I just enjoy the tune. Let's see how long this song will last.

• Taylor Swift - New Romantics literally had no AirPlay and it debuted. This song is also catchy but I will probably get sick of it quickly because Taylor Swift songs are always overplayed. I doubt it'll hit #1, but I know it will be overplayed.

• The best entrant is Pitbull/Osmani Garcia/Lil Jon- El Taxi. It's so good because it makes me wanna dance. It kinda sounds like Enrique Iglesias' song, Bailando though. It also sounds like an Iranian song which is my culture. I really hope this song goes far.

7 Blurbs:
• Even though I titled this 7 Blurbs, there will still be more than 7.

• How in the world is Ed Sheeran Photograph still here, it lost its popularity everywhere else but I'm happy that it dropped.

• Also, Taylor Swift - Wildest Dreams in the top 30 is unacceptable.

• Troye Sivan - Youth isn't doing very well on the countdown despite him hosting HitBound this weekend.

• I've forgot that Elle King - Ex's & Oh's was  still on the countdown.

• Charlie Puth - One Call Away is now officially annoying at this point so please leave the top 20 and better yet, the countdown.

• Speaking of annoying songs, if Adele - Hello stays in the top 10 for too long, it will be orange.

• The Weekend's best song in my opinion is In The Night but I'm about to get sick of it because it's so overplayed.

• Another song that is starting to become overplayed is Flo Rida - My House, it now has a longer tenure that both I Don't Like It, I Love It and GDFR.

• Quite a few songs have held their spots from last week.

• Twenty One Pilots - Stressed Out is now my favorite song, and I once even hated it.

• Speaking of Stressed Out, I'm fine if this song or Perfect is the #1 to keep overplayed songs out of the area.

• I couldn't stand listening from #36 to #30.
